Empowerment workshop and exhibition on the occasion of International Women’s Day

Muzaffarnagar: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a workshop and empowerment photo exhibition was organised under ‘Laadli Raksha Abhiyan’ under the aegis of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India at Police Modern School, Police Line Muzaffarnagar.

On this occasion, an exhibition of paintings based on the achievements of great women was organized, which included paintings focused on women empowerment prepared by local painter Seema Tyagi and budding painter Ritika Pal. Superintendent of Police Crime Mr. Prashant Kumar, Superintendent of Police Traffic Mr. Atul Choubey and other dignitaries visited this exhibition and appreciated the artists.
Respect for women teachers–
During the programme, the Principal and women teachers of Police Modern School were honoured who have made exemplary contribution in the field of education.
10 years of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme – ‘Unparalleled campaign’–
On this occasion, a women’s felicitation ceremony was also organized to mark the completion of 10 years of the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ scheme. In this felicitation ceremony, martial arts coach Ms. Rakhi Suryadev, renowned painter Ms. Seema Tyagi, and budding painter Ritika Pal were honored with certificates and gifts for their outstanding achievements.
Important step towards women empowerment–
The event proved to be an important initiative towards recognising the achievements of women and encouraging their contribution to society. At the end of the event, the guests emphasised the need to raise awareness on women’s rights, education, and safety.
The participation of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Police Administration, educationists, artists and social service organizations was remarkable in this successful event.
