The third Lollapalooza India will take place in Mumbai in March 2025, and the international rock band Green Day and American singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes are scheduled to play, the event’s organizers announced on Tuesday.
The lineup of well-known performers from India and throughout the world for the festival, which is scheduled for March 8 and 9, has been revealed by the organizers. Other performers at the music extravaganza include American DJ John Summit, Glass Animals from “Heat Waves,” EDM heavyweight Zedd, rock group Nothing But Thieves, and Big Boi, half of the renowned rap duo Outkast. Louis Tomlinson, a former member of One Director, will also perform.
The festival will feature performances by Indian musicians including Hanumankind, Raftaar x Kr$na, Lisa Mishra, Raman Negi, Sid Vashi, Raghav Meattle, Sudan, and Tawliinder. Legendary sitarist Niladri Kumar is also scheduled to play.
Along with international producers Perry Farrell and C3 Presents, BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experience section of BookMyShow, is leading Lollapalooza India as the promoter and co-producer for the festival’s Indian iteration.
The festival’s organizers claim that it has evolved into a live music showcase with a diverse lineup of international and local performers performing pop, rock, hip-hop, EDM, and techno music.
