Hexagon, a global leader in measurement technologies, has officially unveiled its advanced ATS800 metrology solution for the Indian market at IMTEX Forming 2026, one of the country’s leading manufacturing and machine tool exhibitions. Although the solution has been launched globally earlier, IMTEX Forming 2026 marks its formal debut for Indian manufacturers.
The launch ceremony was attended by Mr. Pramod Kaushik, President, Hexagon India; Mr. Manoj Sharma, Director – Marketing and Sales Excellence, Hexagon India; along with senior company leaders and industry guests. The exhibition is being held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) and will continue until January 25, 2026, with Hexagon showcasing the ATS800 at Hall 3A, Booth A126.
The ATS800 is a next-generation laser tracking metrology solution that integrates high-accuracy direct scanning and reflector tracking into a single portable system. Capable of measuring complex surfaces and large structures from distances of up to 40 metres, it enhances precision, productivity, and inspection efficiency.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Pramod Kaushik said the ATS800 reflects Hexagon’s commitment to India’s manufacturing transformation by enabling higher accuracy, digital workflows, and operational confidence. Mr. Manoj Sharma added that the solution strengthens Hexagon’s mission to support India’s rapidly evolving manufacturing ecosystem with advanced, practical metrology technologies.
Designed for sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, and heavy engineering, the ATS800 supports automation, advanced workflows, and seamless integration with existing metrology and robotic systems, reinforcing Hexagon’s long-term commitment to India’s industrial growth.
