Holi Celebrations Light Up Washington, D.C. at Dupont Circle Park

Washington, D.C. is set to burst into colour as the Embassy of India in Washington, D.C. collaborates with the Dupont Circle Business Improvement District to host Holi celebrations on March 7, 2026, at Dupont Circle Park.
Now in its fourth year, the free community event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., welcoming residents and visitors to experience India’s vibrant Festival of Colours. The afternoon begins with live music by DJ Pandu and cultural performances, including Studio Dhoom, alongside complimentary masala chai and traditional sweets.
At 2:00 p.m., festivities will culminate in the much-anticipated colour-throwing celebration, symbolising joy, unity, and renewal. Organisers say the event highlights Washington’s multicultural spirit while showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage in the heart of the U.S. capital.
