‘Important day for Delhi’: PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared Friday to be a “important day for Delhi’s development” as he inaugurated multiple development projects in the city.

“Today is an important day for Delhi’s development. At a programme in Ashok Vihar, will be inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for a wide range of development works which will boost ‘Ease of Living’ for the people of Delhi,” PM Narendra Modi wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The prime minister will inaugurate several projects, including 1,675 newly constructed flats for residents of JJ (Jhuggi Jhopri) clusters in Ashok Vihar, the World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar, the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar, and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Integrated Office Complex at Dwarka.

Prime Minister Modi will lay the groundwork for three ₹600 crore projects at Delhi University. These include the Eastern Campus in Surajmal Vihar, the Western Campus at Dwarka, and the Veer Savarkar College at Roshanpura, Najafgarh, all with cutting-edge amenities.
