Imran khan has been shot bullet during a rally

Imran Khan, the former Pakistan captain, has been injured in his leg after being shot by a bullet in a protest march in Wazirabad in eastern Punjab, on Thursday.
The 70-year-old, who has previously served as the prime minister of the country, was delivering a speech to the supporters of his political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, when he was attacked.Asad Umar, a party leader, told reporters, “He is being taken to a hospital in Lahore, but he is not seriously wounded. A bullet hit him in the leg,”
Shahbaz Shariff, who took over as the prime minister of the country after a no-confidnce motion was passed against Imran Khan’s government earlier this year, write on Twitter, I condemn the incident of firing on PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the strongest words. I have directed Interior Minister for an immediate report on the incident. I pray for the recovery and health of PTI chairman and other injured people.”
The man who attacked Imran Khan during his ‘real freedom’ rally in Wazirabad said he tried to kill the former Prime Minister of Pakistan as he was “misleading the people”. Omar R Quraishi, former media adviser to Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, shared the attacker’s confession video.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack on Imran Khan and ordered Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to seek a report from the inspector-general of police and chief secretary of Punjab in Pakistan.
