In Anantnag, J&K, two terrorists were slain in a confrontation with security personnel

During a confrontation in the Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, security personnel shot and killed two militants. Security forces launched an anti-terrorist operation in the region, which sparked the gunfight. This occurred just hours after a comparable incident occurred in the Khanyar neighborhood of Srinagar.

According to officials cited by news agency PTI, one of the terrorists was a foreigner and the other was a local. The officials said that it is still unknown whose organization the terrorists were connected to.

After learning that some terrorists were hidden in the neighborhood, security personnel began the operation.Since Friday, there have been four terrorist-related incidents in the Kashmir valley. On Friday, two Uttar Pradesh migrant laborers were shot in the Budgam area. After being hurt in the assault, both have been taken to JVC Hospital Bemina in Srinagar and are undergoing treatment.

Terrorists opened fire on a construction site in the Sonamarg neighborhood of Ganderbal district earlier in October, killing a doctor and six migrant laborers. On October 18, militants in the Shopian area of South Kashmir killed a Bihar migrant laborer. Locals in the vicinity found the worker’s body, which had been shot.
