INDIA bloc disintegrating as it doesn’t have ideology: BJP’s Bawankule

News Mania Desk / Piyal Chatterjee / 13th january 2025

Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Maharashtra Minister and state BJP chairman, declared on Monday that the INDIA bloc is fracturing because it lacks an ideology and a program for the country’s growth.

“The INDIA bloc doesn’t have any policy for the nation’s development. They came together for power, and now, without power, all leaders of the alliance have scattered away. And in Maharashtra as well, you can see Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar are against the Congress because they don’t have an ideology,” he said.

Speaking to reporters in Nagpur, Bawankule stated that the INDIA bloc was fragmented and that the Shiv Sena (UBT) in Maharashtra was opposed to the Congress. The state revenue minister stated that the Mahayuti coalition of the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP has a same philosophy and progressive vision and would always work together. Bawankule stated that the final choice on guardian ministers will be made by January 15-16, and the chief minister and deputy chief ministers had two to three sessions.

He further stated that the Mukyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will continue, and no action will be taken against anyone. However, the stipend will be withdrawn for fraudulent beneficiaries.

The administration has previously said that it will investigate complaints about fraudulent Ladki Bahin recipients and get information from the Income Tax and Transport Departments for verification. The plan, established by the previous Eknath Shinde-led administration in August last year, provides qualified women with a monthly payment of Rs 1,500.
