India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Apply for 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak Vacancies

India Post, the nation’s largest postal network, has announced a major recruitment drive for 44,228 vacancies of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). The recruitment notification specifies that online applications are open from July 15 to August 5, 2024, through the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
The positions available include Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak for the financial year 2025. Salaries for these roles range from ₹10,000 to ₹24,470 per month for ABPM / GDS positions and ₹12,000 to ₹29,380 per month for BPM positions.
Candidates aged between 18 and 40 years, possessing a Class 10 certificate from a recognized board, are eligible to apply. Essential requirements include passing marks in Mathematics and English as shown in the Secondary School Examination Pass Certificate.
The application process involves three stages: Registration, Payment of Application Fee, and Online Application submission. Here’s a step-by-step guide to apply:

- Register using a valid mobile number, email ID, and password.
- Pay the application fee to complete the registration process.
- Choose your preferred Division and Exercise options during the online application.

- Select the Divisional Head of the division you are applying to, who will verify your documents at a later stage of recruitment.
