
The President of the Republic of Seychelles, H.E. Dr. Patrick, paid a State Visit to India and held high-level discussions with the Prime Minister at Hyderabad House, New Delhi, marking an important step forward in bilateral relations between the two nations. The visit highlighted the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership shared by India and Seychelles, particularly in the Indian Ocean region.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed ongoing cooperation in maritime security, blue economy, climate resilience, capacity building, and development partnerships. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to regional stability and sustainable growth. India reiterated its continued support for Seychelles through infrastructure projects, training programs, and technical collaboration.

Delegation-level talks covered collaboration in defense, renewable energy, digital governance, healthcare, and education. Both sides emphasized enhancing people-to-people ties and expanding economic engagement, including trade and investment opportunities.

Following the talks, a joint press statement was issued at Hyderabad House.
