India Voices Deep Concern as Strikes Rock Venezuela, Urges Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution

India has expressed serious concern over the rapidly unfolding situation in Venezuela following military strikes and reports related to the capture of President Nicolás Maduro. Describing the developments as deeply troubling, New Delhi said it is closely monitoring the situation and called on all sides to exercise restraint and prioritise dialogue to prevent further escalation.

In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs underlined India’s longstanding position that conflicts should be resolved through peaceful means.
