Indo Mediterranean Initiative(IMI) was launched on 16th of June 2024 in Rome, Italy.The Initiative will study, support and promote India-Italy partnership, especially in context of the India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor (IMEC), launched at the G20 in New Delhi in September 2023. A two – days India Forum 2024 organized by the Chief Representative for Italy of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Vas Shenoy in Rome.
Shri Ameya Prabhu ICC President mentioned that Italy-India relationship is important for global peace, security and progress and to conduct trade and business trust is an essential commodity. Prabhu further added that the first edition of India Forum 2024, has touched upon all key areas – politics, trade and business .
ICC delegation of 30 companies attended India Fourm.
Indo-Italian Chamber for Commerce and Industry Secretary General Claudio Maffioletti attended the fourm. The business forum was organized by ICC with cooperation of Union Camere, Italy’s national federation of Chambers of Commerce at its headquarters in Piazza Sallustio, Rome.
