Jan Kalyan Shivir Camp Helps Needy Peoples in Form Filling AtKharagpur Ward No 27

Kharagpur, West Bengal : The West Bengal government launched its large-scale three-day administrative outreach program, Jan Kalyan Shivir (JKS), on Monday. Due to popular demand, the program was extended by one more day. The initiative aims to create a unified, single-window platform to help bridge the gap between citizens and various welfare schemes.

Through these special outreach camps, residents can access information, registration support, application assistance, and grievance-related services schemes at a single location. The initiative aims to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive government benefits without having to visit multiple offices.

The Jan Kalyan Shivir camps provide access to 55 government schemes and citizen services, including farmer welfare programs like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi and Kisan Credit Card, student scholarships, Ayushman Bharat health benefits, E-Shram registration for workers, as well as loans for entrepreneurs through PM Vishwakarma and Mudra Loan schemes. Other key schemes featured are PM SVANidhi for street vendors, PM Awas Yojana Urban, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Kanyashree Yojana, and the Annapurna Yojana.

In Ward No. 27 of Kharagpur, a small Jan Kalyan Shivir camp has been set up specifically to assist locals who find it challenging to complete application forms for these government schemes. The camp offers help in applying for programs such as the Annapurna Bhandar scheme, job cards, and Ayushman cards.

Volunteers Amar, Dinesh, Sikhandar, Chunnu Gupta have been in guiding residents through the form-filling process. Padmati Gupta Ward President of BJP is also helping in filling up the forms. Their dedication, many needy individuals have successfully applied for the benefits they deserve.

Local residents have expressed their gratitude for the support provided at the camp, appreciating the government’s effort to simplify access to welfare services.
