Kapil Sharma’s Netflix Show Nears Conclusion with Star-Studded Finale
Kapil Sharma’s popular Netflix show, “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” is drawing to a close after less than two months since its premiere. The production team has completed shooting for the show’s first season and has assured fans of a return with another exciting season in the near future. However, before bidding farewell, the show is set to feature notable guests, including Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, and even international sensation Ed Sheeran.
Reporter Manav Manglani shared the exciting news on his Instagram, announcing that the upcoming episodes of “The Great Indian Kapil Show” would showcase stars like Ed Sheeran, Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, among others. He encouraged fans to prepare for more laughter and hilarious moments throughout the summer.
Kiku Sharda, a key member of the show, confirmed that the first season is coming to an end but assured fans that it is only a temporary break. The team recently shot the last episode of the season on May 1st. While five episodes have already been released, eight more are set to be aired soon before Kapil Sharma takes a short hiatus and returns with the second season.
“We have done 13 episodes, and the second season will come out soon. We have just wrapped up the first season. It was always meant to be like this. We have already planned the next season, and it will come out soon. There won’t be a very huge gap,” Kiku revealed.
He explained that although the show had a longer runtime on television, the shift to a digital platform allowed them to experiment with different formats. Despite the appearance of a finale, Kiku emphasized that the break is temporary, and the show will be back soon with more episodes.
“The Great Indian Kapil Show” debuted on Netflix on March 30, 2024, with an illustrious lineup featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as the first guests. Subsequent episodes welcomed prominent figures like cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, as well as actors Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra, accompanied by director Imtiaz Ali, to promote their film “Amar Singh Chamkila.”
In the fourth episode, the audience was treated to laughter-filled moments with brothers Vicky and Sunny Kaushal, who shared amusing childhood anecdotes. The fifth episode featured Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan as the guest, adding to the star-studded lineup of the show.
As the first season of “The Great Indian Kapil Show” approaches its conclusion, fans can look forward to the remaining episodes, filled with entertainment and laughter, before eagerly awaiting the return of Kapil Sharma with the next installment of his beloved show.
