Kartik Aaryan Unveils First Poster of Chandu Champion: Fans Shocked by His Transformation

Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to reveal the first poster of his upcoming movie, Chandu Champion, on Wednesday. The poster depicts Kartik in a striking pose, wearing a red langot, his body drenched in sweat and mud, showcasing his chiseled physique and abs.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, Kartik expressed his excitement and pride, stating, “Champion aa raha hai (is coming)… super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career.”
The poster garnered enthusiastic responses from fans and celebrities alike. One fan commented, “Goosebumps, not even kidding,” while another expressed, “Unrecognisable for a minute. Woah.” Actor Huma Qureshi chimed in with a simple yet impressed, “Arreeeeewaaah (Wow),” and Bhumi Pednekar exclaimed, “Woahhhhhh.”
In a recent Instagram post, Kartik humorously revealed that his plans to unveil the Chandu Champion poster were disrupted by his pet dog Katori. He shared a video where he is seen chasing Katori, who had torn down the film’s poster. Kartik wrote, “Aaj se promotion ka shubharambhhonathalekin Katori ne poster hi phaad dia. Ab kal hi ayega poster (Planned to kick off the promotions, but Katori turned around everything).”
Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is inspired by the remarkable true story of a sportsman and his indomitable spirit. Kartik will be essaying the role of Chandu, and to prepare for the character, he underwent a remarkable transformation. According to ANI, Kartik dedicated 14 months to mastering the Marathi dialect for the role, working closely with a language coach to ensure authenticity in his portrayal.
Last year in August, Kartik unveiled the first look of Chandu Champion, featuring him in a blazer with short hair and an intense expression, adorned with injury marks on his face. The film is scheduled for release on June 14, 2024.
In addition to Chandu Champion, Kartik is currently shooting for the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the third installment of the popular franchise stars Vidya Balan and TriptiiDimri alongside Kartik and is slated to hit theaters on Diwali 2024.
