Kharagpur Division Celebrates 150 Years of Vande Mataram and Constitution Day 2025 with Grand Ceremony

Kharagpur Division today celebrated the Commemoration of 150 Years of “Vande Mataram” along with “Constitution Day 2025” on 26.11.2025. The programme was organised in the circulating area outside Kharagpur Railway Station in a dignified and vibrant manner.

The event began with the Pledge Ceremony administered by Shri Lalit Mohan Pandey, Divisional Railway Manager,Kharagpur. ADRM, all Divisional Branch Officers, the President of SERWWO, Scouts & Guides, and school children from various institutions attended the programme in large numbers.

The RPF Band added grandeur to the ceremony with a disciplined performance of drums and patriotic rhythms. Awards were also distributed to students from different Divisional schools of Kharagpur and Santragachi, in recognition of their achievements in the Vande Mataram Competition.

The programme featured several cultural performances organised by the Divisional Cultural Association (DCA), highlighting the spirit of nationalism, unity, and the constitutional values of the nation.

Kharagpur Division reaffirmed its commitment to uphold the ideals of the Constitution and to continue promoting patriotic awareness among the railway fraternity and society.
