Kolkatan’s eexperienced an unique shopping experience through Eid Milan Mela

Kolkata – Best Friendz Society ngo in association with Kolkata Fashion Sale presented an exhibition cum sale for women entrepreneurs and startups namely EID MILAN MELA to showcase and sell novel products and services created by women entrepreneurs at Jamal Building, Khidderpore on 8th to 10 of February 2025 curated by Exhibition Queen Tasu Ali and Co -Founder of Best Friendz Society Shagufta Hanaphie together.
” Our motive was to empower entrepreneurs specifically Homepreneurs, foster collaborations and provide networking opportunities to them . Three days have been housefull with more than 1000 people stoping by to shop ” said Shagufta Hanaphie , Exhibition curator & founder Best Friendz Society.
Displayed were fashion and lifestyle products across various sections like apparel, accessories, home decor, skincare and farmer’s market, the exhibition was a one-stop for shoppers. Along with food stalls, a free mehendi zone , sit and drawing competition . Eid Milan Mela offered a fulfilling and unique shopping experience to the visitors.

Social Activists like Sheila Kapoor , Hena Kapoor , Janab Shahbaz , Janab Md Atiq Rahman , MD Bluesky Education , Founder Alok Foundation Debjani Ghosh , Baker Shirin Eqbal & Advocate Sultan Yasmin were present as Special Guests to grace the exhibition.
There are a variety of products at the exhibition which made it a great place to shop at, especially with the wedding and party season going on currently and also festivala like ramadaan , eid & holi being the next big festival coming up .
” Our next exhibition is scheduled to take place from 17th March to 23rd March giving women entrepreneurs another platform and also celebrating the International Women’s Day Month at the same place at my residence courtyard in Jamal Building in Khidderpore said Shagufta Hanaphie , Founder Best Friendz Society.
