Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College Student Found Dead At Her Home

A student from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata was discovered dead in the ESI Hospital Quarters located in Kamarhati, North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal.

The mother of the student, who is a physician, became anxious when her attempts to reach her daughter were met with silence. Ivy Prasad was discovered lifeless in her room by her mother.

The authorities have recorded a case of unnatural death and initiated an inquiry into the situation.

A post-mortem examination has taken place, and the report is pending.

The father of the deceased student is employed at a bank and resides in Mumbai. On August 9 of the previous year, the corpse of a post-graduate medical trainee was discovered in the seminar room of RG Kar Hospital.
