Kripanath Mallah and Family Visit New Parliament Building and Samvidhan Sadan

Kripanath Mallah,  Member of Parliament-Karimganj (Sribhoomi)  along with his family and brother-in-law, Bablu Mallah from Bihara village in Barak Valley, had the opportunity to visit the New Parliament Building and the historic Samvidhan Sadan. The visit was an occasion filled with pride and significance, as they walked through the hallowed halls of these iconic structures, which hold immense importance in India’s democratic journey.

The Samvidhan Sadan, formerly known as the Old Parliament Building, has long been a symbol of India’s democratic heritage. It has witnessed countless historic moments and legislative decisions that shaped the nation’s future. The renaming of this structure marks a reverence to its legacy while transitioning to a new chapter of India’s democratic story.

The New Parliament Building, a modern architectural marvel, represents the progressive and dynamic future of India. With its state-of-the-art facilities and design, it embodies the nation’s aspirations for development, governance, and transparency.

Kripanath Mallah shared that the visit was a meaningful experience, made even more memorable by the presence of his family and his dedicated Parliamentary Assistant (PA), Manna Dutta, who has been a constant support throughout his journey. Reflecting on the experience, Mallah expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to witness the blending of India’s rich history with its bright future in these remarkable buildings.
