Mamata Banerjee Urges Doctors to Resume Duties as CBI Takes Charge of RG Kar Rape-Murder Investigation

Three lives have already been lost, including that of a child and a pregnant woman. I implore you, publicly, to reconsider and resume your invaluable service.”

It’s impossible to take action against individuals without a proper and detailed investigation. I hold immense respect for both senior and junior doctors. However, I cannot sanction arrests without concrete evidence. With our target set for Sunday, we anticipate the case to reach a resolution by then. It’s incumbent upon the CBI to ensure this timeline is met.”
