Mission Smile in partnership with Narayan Memorial Hospital, is offering free of cost cleft surgery to children and young adults of West Bengal under the Swasthya Sathi Scheme from July 2022
Mission Smile,an 80-G and FCRA registered medical charity, in partnership with Narayan Memorial Hospital is offering free of cost cleft lip and cleft palate corrective surgeries to the children and young adults of residing in and around Kolkata and the suburbs under the SwasthyaSathi Scheme, From July 2022 at Narayan Memorial Hospital, Behala. This will be the first time in Kolkata that Mission Smile and Narayan Memorial Hospital are working together under theSwasthyaSathi Scheme to cater to children born with cleft deformities surgeries will be conducted at Narayan Memorial hospital. The start of this partnership will be in the form of a mini-comprehensive medical to provide 20 safe surgeries on 8th and 9th of July 2022 followed by regular surgeries on patients sourced the program team with the help of the NHM to locate these little children born with Cleft.
Mission Smile has provided 7000+ cleft surgeries in West Bengal so far through 17 medical Missions and regular Centre activities in Kolkata. It is expected that the two-day comprehensive Cleft surgical camp (mission) will provide more than 20 cleft surgeries through a team of medical experts from the field of Plastic Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Paediatrics, Dentistry, Speech Language Pathology and Nursing across the globe.
Narayan Memorial Hospital is a fastest growing hospital in Eastern India. On the occasion of 3rd year Anniversary they are providing the support to all these patients came from different Districts like Howrah, Midnapore, Murshidabad, North 24 Pgs, Burdwan, Purulia as well as some patient came from Jharkhand also.
