Movie Depicts Intrigue Of Forbidden Love Tale: Pakistani Woman Crosses Borders for Indian Lover

Seema Haider, a Pakistani national who clandestinely crossed borders to be with her Indian lover Sachin Meena, is currently engrossed in filming her debut movie ‘Karachi to Noida.’ Concurrently, the movie’s producer, Amit Jani, has taken a step to unravel her past by inviting her ex-husband, Ghulam Haider, from Saudi Arabia to India to shed light on her life story.

Hailing from Pakistan’s Sindh province, Seema defied borders by entering India with her four children on a bus through Nepal in May, all in pursuit of a life with Sachin residing in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida. The film, titled ‘Karachi to Noida,’ is being produced by Jani Firefox Film Production. Seema had previously auditioned for a role in the upcoming movie.

Amit Jani expressed his intent to meet with Seema’s ex-husband, Ghulam Haider, and extended an invitation for him to visit either Delhi or Mumbai to contribute his perspective on her life journey. If Ghulam Haider cannot travel to India, Jani plans to send his writer to Saudi Arabia, where he currently resides.

“Our film aims to narrate the unfolding of this love story that evolved while playing PUBG, the motivations behind her journey to India, and to delve into the question of whether she is a spy or not. These facets form the essence of our film, and thus, we are meticulously gathering every detail about Seema Haider,” Jani stated.

As for the upcoming movie, the final casting decisions for the roles of Seema and Sachin are expected to be determined within the next two days. The film’s shooting will take place in Dubai, the city where Seema’s journey to India continued, as she entered the country via Nepal.

Seema Haider, a 30-year-old Pakistani woman, disclosed that she fell in love with Sachin Meena, a 22-year-old Indian man residing in Greater Noida, during the Covid-19 pandemic, through the popular video game PUBG.

Seema, who was previously married to Ghulam Haider and shared four children with him, made the life-altering decision to depart Pakistan and cross the Indian border clandestinely to be with Sachin. Their initial connection took place in Nepal in March, where Seema underwent a conversion to Hinduism. The couple reportedly wedded in accordance with Hindu customs and then embarked on their journey to India through Nepal on May 13, accompanied by her children.

On July 4, Seema’s entry into India was met with legal repercussions, resulting in her arrest for illegal border crossing, while Sachin and his father were detained for providing her shelter. Though the couple was subsequently released on bail, they remain under scrutiny by investigative agencies.

In the midst of these events, Seema’s estranged husband Ghulam Haider, currently employed in Saudi Arabia, expressed his desire to reunite with his wife and children. However, Seema stands firm in her resolve not to return to Pakistan, and instead, she aspires to continue her life with Sachin.
