Before Diwali, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani visited Uttarakhand’s Badrinath and Kedarnath Dhams to obtain blessings.The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) welcomed the industrialist as he set out on his spiritual pilgrimage to the holy places on Sunday. According to reports, the billionaire gave ₹5 crore to the sanctuaries of Badrinath and Kedarnath.
Dressed in a simple white kurta pyjama and a beige jacket, Mukesh Ambani was seen offering prayers while surrounded by heavy security. The industrialist even posed for pictures in front of the temples as a crowd gathered to get a glimpse of him. The Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham, which are part of the revered Char Dham yatra, are tucked away in the gorgeous Himalayan region and have great religious significance for the Hindu population.
Last year, Mukesh Ambani also went to the shrines, but he was with his family. He went to the holy shrines in 2023 with Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani.The Ambani family reportedly gave ₹5 crore to the joint committee of Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham in 2022 after visiting the temples to seek blessings.The Ambani family, who are well-known for regularly visiting temples and making donations to shrines, have previously given a 20-kg gold crown worth about ₹15 crore to the Lalbaugcha Raja idol in Mumbai for Ganesh Chaturthi.
