Reports suggest that Google intends to provide its upcoming base Pixel smartphone with a triple-camera system. As stated in a report from 9To5Google, the Pixel 10 could incorporate a telephoto lens, making it more competitive with Samsung’s Galaxy S25, which already has one.

The report indicates that design images of the upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone have appeared online, showing a glimpse of what the basic 2025 Pixel model could resemble. A notable distinction is the camera lens covering on the camera module, which seems comparable to that of the Pixel 9 Pro.

This implies that there may be an additional camera sensor beneath. Though a telephoto lens is probably going to be added, it might not rival the enhanced features of the Pro version. Google might distinguish the two by providing the base model with a regular telephoto camera, while saving a periscopic zoom system for the Pro versions.

Although the telephoto camera might be available for the standard version, the thermometer sensor will probably stay exclusive to the Pro models.

Aside from the camera enhancement, the Pixel 10 is not anticipated to experience major design alterations. The images display a flat-frame structure akin to the Pixel 9, featuring the distinctive floating camera module.

Nonetheless, slight modifications are anticipated. The SIM tray, now located at the bottom, might be moved to the top edge, potentially allowing space for another speaker cutout. Moreover, the Pixel 10 is anticipated to be marginally thicker than the previous model, with a thickness of 8.6mm against the Pixel 9’s 8.5mm—a variation likely due to the addition of the third camera sensor.
