Narayani Namastute 2025: A Grand Celebration of Culture, Excellence, and Community Spirit

      New Delhi, Sept. 13th., Saturday…– The Narayani Namastute 2025 event held on September 13th at the Godavari Auditorium was a resounding success, celebrating the rich tapestry of culture, exceptional individuals, and community initiatives. The event attracted attendees from various backgrounds, including prominent figures from the arts, education, and social activism.

The evening commenced promptly at 4:00 PM with a Ghanti (Beginning Ritual), followed by the Ya Chandi Song, which set a spiritual tone for the gathering. Anindita led a short Path, and the audience was enchanted by performances from Sauvik and Somdutta, who delivered powerful renditions of “Ya Devi” and “Bajlo,” respectively.

The audience was further captivated by a dynamic performance featuring Dhaki on stage, accompanied by dancers Smita and Debosmita, showcasing traditional rhythms and movements. The highlight of the dance segment was the performance of “Elo Elo Gouri Elo,” which received thunderous applause.

The event’s anchors, Shorba and Anindita, took the stage to provide an overview of Narayani Namastute, leading into the Lamp Lighting Ceremony. This poignant moment was graced by esteemed Advisory Board Members, including Shri Tamal Dutta, Shri Joy Chatterjee,By Advisory Board Members:

A significant aspect of Narayani Namastute is its commitment to social causes. The event highlighted ongoing activities in association with Amra Padatik, focusing on children of sex workers. Initiatives included saree distribution prior to the Final Round Judgement at Kolkata and visits to an old age home in Chander Nagar.

The evening’s centerpiece was the NN Shakti Samman – Pride of Bharat 2025, where six distinguished individuals were honored for their remarkable contributions:

* Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury for Visionary Leadership in Education
* Dr. Sreya Chattopadhyay for Technology Innovations
* Smt. Sohaila Kapur for Excellence in Theatre Cinema
* Shri Agni Roy for Contribution to Journalism
* Subedar Major Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav, PVC (Retd.) as “Nation’s Gallant Hero”

Special addresses were made by Shri Tamal Dutta and Shri Kaushik Guha Roy to the Puja Committees, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration within both national and international communities.

The event also featured a segment showcasing glimpses of Narayani Namastute and its partners. Notably, past awardees were felicitated, recognizing their contributions over the previous year.

A cultural highlight of the evening was a power-packed performance by celebrity playback singer Sanchita Bhattacharya, who mesmerized the audience with her talent. The performance was preceded by an engaging introductory AV that set the stage for an unforgettable musical journey.

The evening concluded with a heartfelt Thank You Note from Mithu Chatterjee, expressing gratitude to all participants, partners, and attendees who made Narayani Namastute 2025 a memorable celebration.
