New GNWBA managing committee takes charge

Greater Noida, June 17

The new managing committee of Greater Noida West Bengali Association, popularly known as GNWBA, has taken charge after successful completion of the annual election process.
Manoj Kumar Neogi, a known social worker of the Noida Extension locality, is the new president of the prestigious non-profit making social organization.

The following members were elected for various positions of the association for a period of two years (2024-26) —
1. President – Manoj Kumar Neogi
2. Vice President – Panchali Shyam Dev
3. General Secretary – Animesh Mukherjee
4. Joint Secretary – Alok Samanta
5. Treasurer- Chiranjeeb Gupta
6. Joint Treasurer – Shuvo Sanyal
7. Cultural Secretary – Bijeyeeta Prusty
8. Asst. Cultural Secretary – Sudhriti Dutta

In addition, new executive body members include – Surojit Ghoshal, Gautam Basu, Uttam Bose, Abhishek Bannerjee, Tuhin Hazra, Surya Ghosh and Nabin Dutta.
The new President, Manoj Kumar Neogi said the new team would carry forward the legacy of GNWBA and try its level best to take the association to new heights.
Neogi urged all the members to cooperate so that all expatriate Bengalis from West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and other northern eastern states continue to enjoy their culture and tradition involving their next generation.
Election Commissioner, Ratnajyoti Dutta, conducted the election process with upholding the rules and regulations of the registered body. The election process was completed on May 26 and results were announced at a general body meeting.
