New K-pop Girl Group izna Cancels KCON LA 2024 Performance Due to Visa Issues

The highly anticipated appearance of the new girl group izna at KCON LA 2024 has been unexpectedly canceled. The announcement, made on July 19, reveals that the group, which was formed on Mnet’s audition show I-LAND 2, will not be able to perform at the popular event due to unforeseen visa complications.
KCON LA 2024 issued an official statement confirming the unfortunate news. The event organizers expressed their regret, stating, “We regret to inform you that the new group from I-LAND 2 will be unable to join us at KCON LA due to unexpected visa issues.” The statement further elaborated that izna had been eagerly anticipating their debut at the convention and were deeply disappointed by the situation. KCON LA 2024 is set to run from July 26 to July 28 at the Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center. Notably, the final concert on July 28 will be broadcast live on The CW Network, marking the first live primetime national television broadcast of KCON in the United States.
In addition to the performances, KCON LA 2024 will host special fan meetings with prominent stars Kim Soo Hyun and Park Min Young. Kim Soo Hyun, known for his role in the hit drama Queen of Tears, will hold his fan meeting titled “Behind the Scene: Kim Soo Hyun” on July 28. Park Min Young will participate in a Special Fan Meeting: “Marry My Husband” on July 27. Both events are scheduled to take place at the Meet & Greet Stage in the LA Convention Center South Hall.
The cancellation of izna’s performance is a significant disappointment for fans who were excited to see the group perform live.
