New Vehicle Scrapping Regulations For Auto-Owners

According to Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, the government intends to establish at least three authorized vehicle-scrapping facilities in each district in the nation. The Road Ministry has received 206 bids for Ropeway, Cable Car, and Funicular Railway, according to Gadkari, who made the statement in the annual program of the ACMA, an association of auto parts manufacturers.

India should adopt the global safety standard

In addition, Nitin Gadkari stated that the majority of Indian automakers already export vehicles with six airbags. Such safety regulations for automobiles must be adopted in India as well. He suggested that automakers consider how safe it is for individuals to drive small, inexpensive cars. Speaking at the ACMA’s annual meeting, Gadkari stated that every year, there are roughly five lakh road accidents that result in 1.5 lakh fatalities and over three lakh injuries.

Why not consider the lives of others?

The majority of Indian automakers, he claimed, export vehicles with six airbags. However, they are debating because of the financial impact on India. Gadkari questioned why automakers were not considering the lives of Indians who drive inexpensive vehicles. The minister stated that it is urgently necessary to reduce accidents in the nation.
