NEW DELHI – A sad day for us as we bid adieu to our respected MS Swaminathan
I have lots of fond memories as agri beat reporter covering MS Swaminathan. He was an erudite and humble person, a thorough gentleman with a visionary outlook for the next generation. MS Swaminathan was a man with a mission to make the world a hunger free place. He worked to ensure nutritional security for each person in this world. He was a proponent of perpetuity of growth in the farm sector, beyond the scope of the Green Revolution. Fortunate to have got the scope to capture his words of wisdom and thoughts at various platforms as a reporter.
My deep condolences. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.
