Paul Feig Supports Blake Lively During Legal Battle with Justin Baldoni: ‘She Is The Best’

The highly anticipated sequel to A Simple Favor will premiere on March 7 at the South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival in Austin, Texas. Another Simple Favor reunites Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, and Henry Golding.The first picture, released in 2018, was a huge hit and is still Lively’s highest-grossing film. Following its debut, Another Simple Favor will be available to stream on Prime Video beginning May 1.

Following a social media user’s question about whether the public version was his or Lively’s cut, director Paul Feig discussed the editing process. “It’s my cut,” Feig said on Instagram.

“There is no other cut. Blake has been nothing but supportive and a dream to work with. She is the best and an amazing collaborator, and I’m her biggest fan.”

His comments come amid ongoing speculation about Lively’s involvement in the final cut of It Ends With Us, another upcoming film starring her and directed by Justin Baldoni.
