Performance of Odissi Guru Ms Monalisa Ghosh and her Kalajyoti ensemble ensured being Engrossed in Spiritual Ecstacy
On 7th January , 2024 : The Holy 136th birth anniversary Utsav of Param Premomoy Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra , was celebrated in Kolkata,Haltu, at the huge Nandi Bagan ground. The auspicious occasion was attended by about eighteen thousand devotees.
Kalajoyti paid a homage with an excerpt from Geet Govindam ‘ Jay Jagdeesha Hare’ choreographed and performed by Guru Monalisa Ghosh with her disciples – Suvojit Dutta, Tanusree Neogi, Atasi Biswas, Raju Mishra, Akash Sardar, Somsuvra Dasgupta, and Sanchita Sen.
Engrossed in Spiritual ecstacy over 10 thousand devotees watched fascinated as the ensemble presented ‘Srita Kala Kucha Mandala’ followed by ‘ Dasavtar’ . The choreography excelled with combinations of Gotipuo stance portraying the Avtars of Bhagvan Vishnu.
The presentation received standing ovation from the devotees whose enthusiastic applause vibrated around!
