PM Modi Should Print Images Of Lakshmi And Ganesh On National Currency, According To Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, appealed to Prime Minister Modi and the federal government on October 26 to print images of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi on new banknotes.
The Delhi CM stated that images of Lakshmiji and Ganeshaji might be printed alongside Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait on new banknotes.
He bemoaned the poor state of the Indian economy and claimed that as a result of the rupee’s decline against the US dollar, the nation was in a precarious situation.
India’s foreign exchange reserves dropped by $4.5 billion from the previous week to a more than two-year low of $528.367 billion for the week ending on October 14.
According to figures from the RBI, the nation’s foreign exchange reserves were $532.868 billion in the previous week.
Kejriwal also emphasized that the people of the national capital would reject the BJP and that the Aam Aadmi Party was completely prepared for the elections for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
Additionally, he urged the BJP to name one successful project it had carried out in Gujarat, where it has held office for the past 27 years.
The chief minister of Delhi also praised the city’s citizens for their efforts in reducing pollution.
Height of U-turn: BJP
The BJP attacked Kejriwal, saying that his demand was the height of a U-turn since he was trying to be a Hindu, citing previous remarks made by the Delhi chief minister.
His hypocrisy is on display, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told reporters, pointing out that the Aam Aadmi Party administration had recently threatened legal action against those who celebrated Diwali with fireworks.
Patra also brought up AAP politician Rajendra Pal Gautam’s recent attendance at a contentious religious conversion event where participants vowed not to worship Hindu deities.
The BJP spokesperson further mentioned that Kejriwal had previously advocated for the construction of a hospital rather than a Ram temple on the site in Ayodhya.
“Arvind Kejriwal’s political views are currently taking a U-turn. He is the same person who refused to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya, stating that god wouldn’t accept the prayers offered there. He is the same person who in Parliament laughed and termed the flight of Kashmiri Pandits a hoax “said Patra.
In line with similar sentiments, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari asserted that AAP politicians had spoken out frequently and abused Hindu deities, yet they continue to be party members.
