Today in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the Karmayogi Saptah-National Learning Week. Each Karmayogi will pledge to complete at least four hours of competency-linked learning over the week. “National Learning Week will be devoted to learning through various forms of engagement by individual participants as well as Ministries, Departments, and Organizations,” according to the media.
Launched in September 2020, Mission Karmayogi sought to advance citizen-centric government through the support of a strong digital ecosystem. For civil servants, it is a competency-driven program for human resource management and capacity building. The National Learning Week will give organizations and individuals new momentum to build their ability. Each Karmayogi will pledge to complete at least four hours of competency-linked learning over the week.
The courses offered on the iGOT platform must be finished by the participants. Professionally created webinars are offered for the courses. Prominent speakers will give lectures throughout the week, assisting the Karmayogi in effectively pursuing citizen-centric delivery. The week-long event is expected to strengthen civil service capacity, aligning efforts with national goals and enhancing citizen-centric service delivery. Various ministries will also host seminars and workshops to develop specific competencies.
