PM Modi will release the PM Kisan scheme’s 22nd installment.

The 22nd installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow in Guwahati, Assam. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, made this announcement this morning while speaking to the media in New Delhi. He mentioned that about 9 crore 32 lakh farmers will receive 18,640 crore rupees through Direct Benefit Transfer from Prime Minister Modi.

He continued by saying that farmers have now received more than 4 lakh 9 thousand crore rupees through the program. According to Mr. Chouhan, the total would surpass 4 lakh 27 thousand crore rupees when the next installment is released.

According to Mr. Chouhan, the nation’s total foodgrain production increased from 252 million tonnes in 2014 to over 357 million tonnes in 2025. He pointed out that horticulture has grown remarkably, with production rising from 277 million tonnes to almost 369 million tonnes in the same time frame.

Fruit and vegetable output and productivity have also been continuously increasing, he continued. The Minister emphasized that the government has also started the first phase of Bharat Vistar, an AI-based digital platform that will give farmers thorough information about agricultural inquiries, even over the phone in their native tongues.
