Kolkata, 4th May: The country witnessed PM Modi’s face-to-face interview on TV9 Network, India’s No. 1 News Network tonight. During the ongoing Lok Sabha Election, PM Modi answered a volley of questions in an exclusive interaction with 5 Editors. This is the first time in a ‘Round Table’ format, that PM Modi was seen facing questions on many significant issues confronting the nation. Under the leadership of the Managing Director of TV9 Network, Barun Das, the news platform scaled new heights of success tonight. TV9 Network’s post on PM Modi & 5 Editors on X has already been shared by Prime Minister Modi himself from his X handle. He has also praised this exclusive interaction presented in such a unique format. The exclusive interaction was aired tonight from 8 pm to 10 pm across all the regional channels of TV9 Network (TV9 Bharatvarsh, TV9 Telegu, TV9 Kannada, TV9 Marathi, TV9 Gujarati, and TV9 Bangla).

In the exclusive round table interaction of PM Modi, the Executive Editor, Nishant Chaturvedi of TV9 Bharatvarsh; Managing Editor of TV9 Marathi, Umesh Kumawat; Managing Editor of TV9 Telegu, Vellalacheruvu Rajnikant; Managing Editor of TV9 Bangla, Amritanshu Bhattacharya; Channel Head of TV9 Gujrathi Kalpak Kekre and Chief Producer of TV9 Kannada, Ranganatha S. Bharadwaj were present.

Modi shared how he had fought Lok Sabha elections by playing a role in the larger spectrum of the nation and the world. Namo expressed, “The last Loksabha elections had raised many eyebrows, but they had pinned hopes on Modi, who had set a wider horizon to think in a new direction.

How is 2024 different from the rest of the elections? He answered, “There is nothing new about the vote. I have executed votes from different organisations for a long period. Then I got the opportunity to fight elections for the first time in Gujarat. And now I am in another role.”

According to Modi, in 2019 during the Loksabha election, he saw the hopes turning into reality. From 2014 to 2019, the effort, performance, continuity, and transparency that the nation had experienced helped Modi gain the trust of the public voting.

The belief in the system has now turned into a guarantee. He asserts, “I have had a big opportunity in the year 2014. I have devoted myself to the nation and the time has now come to fulfil the aspiration.” In 2014 during his fight for seats in the Loksabha elections, he was the CM of Gujarat. He was targeted back then. In turn, he was seen to overcome many difficulties. With the goodwill of the nation, he is confident of winning the majority seats in the Loksabha elections this year too.

Namo lashed at the Left government, who ruled for long 35 years in Bengal and now TMC is accountable for ruining the state.
“For evolving India, the role of state governance plays an integral role. To bring forward the nation, Bengal is one of those states having optimum capacity,” added Modi.

While the rest of India is reeling under the severe heatwave, the Loksabha election is not far behind. In the exclusive Round Table, he repeatedly addressed the nation, “To bring forth the country ahead, Bengal must come forward. If we browse the pages of history, it has witnessed Bengal’s contribution towards India’s progress. The Bengal participated largely in the Indian independence. Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, and Jagadish Chandra Bose deserve mention in putting Bengal ahead of others. But this tradition of Bengal has been ruined by the TMC and Left.”

According to Modi, “Mamata Banerjee was seen to raise a storm against the “intruders” by throwing papers in the parliament and now she is protecting them. Now it has become like a golden plate. Her public welfare politics is also meant to safeguard her vote bank. Modi said Bengal can occupy the best seat in the globe. For that Bengal has to withdraw itself from vote-bank politics.”
