On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sacred bath at the Sangam in Prayagraj. After arriving at the fairgrounds, the prime minister boarded a boat to Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three rivers: the Ganga, the Yamuna, and the mythological Saraswati, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
He offered prayers while knee-deep in the river, chanting mantras and clutching ‘rudraksha’ beads.
The Prime Minister’s visit takes place on Wednesday, during the Delhi Assembly elections.Maha Kumbh 2025, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13), is the world’s greatest spiritual festival, attracting devotees from all over the world. It will end on February 26.
