When IndiGo Flight 6E 2608, which was traveling from Delhi to Pune, arrived at the Pune airport on January 23 of last month, it was threatened with a bomb. A handwritten note discovered in the airplane’s restroom posed the danger. All passengers safely disembarked from the aircraft after it made a safe landing at Pune airport. Arriving around 8:40 p.m., that flight touched down at 9:24 p.m. and was parked at Bay No. 3 at 9:27 p.m. The bomb threat information was then relayed to Apron Control by Air Traffic Control (ATC). After that, the plane was relocated to the isolation bay. All relevant agencies were promptly notified by Apron Control, and the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was constituted. After the evaluation, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) performed a comprehensive inspection of the aircraft. The security checks revealed no negative or suspicious results. After the procedures were finished, the aircraft was cleared to resume regular operations. No more incidents were recorded, and the matter was handled quickly and cooperatively.
