Qatar Joins India, United Arab Emirates and Others in Emergency Visa Relief for Stranded Travellers

Amid ongoing travel disruptions linked to regional tensions and airspace restrictions, several countries including Qatar, India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Bahrain and Oman have introduced emergency visa measures to assist thousands of stranded travellers.

The move comes in response to widespread flight cancellations and restricted air routes across West Asia, which have left passengers unable to return to their home countries. In a coordinated humanitarian effort, governments have stepped in to ease immigration rules, offering temporary relief to tourists, business travellers, and migrant workers affected by the crisis.

The United Arab Emirates has introduced automatic extensions and fine waivers, while Saudi Arabia has relaxed exit regulations and provided additional time for visa holders to make travel arrangements.
