In Delhi, actor Ranbir Kapoor stole the show at fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani’s Baaraat by Tasva event. On social media, a number of images and videos of the actor dressed as an Indian groom for the fashion show surfaced.In one video, Ranbir was seen driving up in a car while dhols were playing. He folded his hands, blew kisses, and waved to the throng. Ranbir danced to the music while on stage with his groomsmen, the other models. He glanced around from the stage and grinned as well.
The actor chose to wear similar slacks and a silk ivory sherwani. He accessorized his ensemble with a scarf draped over his shoulder and ivory and pink mojri shoes. The costume was completed with a pearl accessory and a silk ivory turban adorned with colorful stones. Anubhav Singh Bassi, who costarred with Ranbir in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, also appeared on the ramp. He was one of the groomsmen for the event, so he dressed in black.
During media interaction, Ranbir remembered how his wife-actor Alia Bhatt planned everything on their wedding day. He said, “My wife planned everything, I just had to follow her lead. Our wedding took place at our home only. So, it was not that hectic. And it was just perfect marriage. To be bride groom again in this collection just feels good.”

Ranbir recently accompanied actor Rani Mukerji to a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai to ask for blessings. At the ceremony, the two had a cute moment together. As they posed for the photographers, Rani gave Ranbir a cheek kiss. Rani chose to wear a yellow saree, while Ranbir wore a grey shirt and white leggings.
