“Sabke Boss Unable To Accept India’s Growth”: Rajnath Singh’s Dig At Trump

Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, attacked the US tariffs harshly this morning, saying that the world powers are envious of India’s quick development. No one can stop India from becoming a superpower, the senior lawmaker said, subtly referring to US President Donald Trump as “sabke boss” in his scathing remarks.
“Some people are unable to accept India’s progress. They are not taking it well. ‘Sabke boss toh hum hain (I am everyone’s boss), how is India progressing so fast?’ Efforts are now on to make Made-in-India products more expensive when they are exported to other countries,” he said at an event in Madhya Pradesh.
The minister called this an attempt to make other countries shun India-made products by making them costlier. “But the pace at which India is progressing, I can assure you, no global power can stop us from becoming a superpower,” he asserted.
India’s government has rejected the US’s over 50% tariffs as “unfair and unreasonable” because they were applied for purchasing Russian oil.
The ‘Bramha’ Rail Hub for Manufacturing, which is being built by Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) at Umaria village in the Raisen district, was officially opened this morning by Mr. Singh. He also spoke about Operation Sindoor and the government’s desire to become ‘atmanirbhar’, or self-sufficient, during his remarks.
On the Pahalgam attack, he reiterated that while India seeks the welfare of the world, it will not tolerate provocation: “Whoever teases us, we will not spare him.”
The Indian forces used indigenous equipment during Operation Sindoor, which played a pivotal role in the success of the operation, the Defence Minister pointed out, claiming, “India was able to reach this position only because it has taken the pledge to become self-reliant in the defence sector.”
Mr Singh’s ministry has been at the forefront of the ‘Make in India’ push championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Our defence production and exports are increasing at an unprecedented pace and have touched record figures. This is the new defence sector of the new India,” he said.
Earlier, almost everything used to be made abroad, be it aircraft or weapons, and whenever the need arose, India bought those from other countries, he said before proudly declaring, “Today, we are not only making most of these things on the Indian soil but also exporting to other countries.”
Civic officials in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) were ordered by the Supreme Court on Monday to apprehend and sterilize stray canines right away and place them in shelters for good. The court issued a strict directive, stating that the order must be carried out without exception.
Noting that urgent action is required to address the threat of dog bites resulting in rabies, the top court stated that it would take action against any individual or organization that opposes the process.
“NCT Delhi, MCD, NMDC shall at earliest start picking up stray dogs from all localities from more particularly vulnerable localities and cities. How to do it is for the authorities to look into and if they have to create a force, do it earlier. However, this should be the first and foremost exercise to make all localities free of stray dogs,” a bench of JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan said.
Calling it a “serious situation”, the court affirmed, “There should not be any compromise in undertaking any exercise”.
“If any individual or organisation comes in the way of picking stray dogs or rounding them up, we will proceed to take action against any such resistance,” the court added, while adjudicating a case it had taken on its own last month.
The court said that the order was not “for our self-interest, but for the people at large,” adding that “no sentiments of any nature can be involved”. “Infants and young children, not at any cost, should fall prey of rabies. The action should inspire confidence that they can move freely without fear of being bitten by stray dogs,” it remarked.
