Savor the Sweetness: 2nd Annual Mango Festival at Dakshin Delhi Kalibari

Dakshin Delhi Kalibari Association (DDKBA) is a socio-cultural-religious institution in South Delhi. Apart from religious functions it organises various social and cultural activities throughout the year. Activities like folk festivals, book fair, free medical camps, grant for meritorious students, helping for disaster affected people and also mango festivals etc. are organised.
In line with the last year’s grand success of the mango festival, this year too DDKBA is organising 2nd Year Mango festival in the premises of Dakshin Delhi Kalibari Mondir. The Mango festival is being organised from 5th to 11th June, 2025 from 10 am to 9 pm at Pranob Mukherjee Sabhagriha, Dakshin Delhi Kalilbari Mandir. The Resident Commissioner, Government of West Bengal with the support of Department of Horticulture, Govt. of West Bengal organises the Mango festival at Janpath Handloom Haat over the years. As a Non Government oragnisation this is the only Mango festival being organised in the Delhi NCR for the last two years.
This mango festival is being organised with the support of Mango growers from Malda, Bankura and other districts. This year the main varieties includes ALPHANSO, KESAR, BOMBAY, KOHITUR, DASHERI, MALLIKA, NUM MY DOC, FAZLI, HIMSAGAR, LANGRA, LAKHANBHOG, ARAJANWA, AMRITBHOG, GOPALBHOG, KISHANBHOG, DUDKUMAR, JILEPIGARHA, BHARTI, BRINDABANI, RANIPASAND, AMEENBHOG, GOLAPKHAS etc. The main thrust of the mangoes is that these the NATURALLY RIPE and CARBIDE FREE. Other than mangos the other products of mangos viz. Amer achar, aamsatto, mango jam, mango jelly, aam panna are also available.
The DDKB Mondir is well connected as it is in the foothills of Malai Mandir on the IGI Airport road. One can reach by metro, the nearest metro stations are Munirka/Vasant Vihar of Magenta line and Moti Bagh of Pink line from there a auto or bus with 5mts drive.
The entry to the festival is free. A large number of mango lovers are expected to avail this opportunity. So hurry up till stocks last.
