ANTI ADDICTION CAMPAIGN CONTEST BY BOBBY CHAKRABORTY AT M. C. KEJRIWAL VIDYAPEETH
The young generation of today has been plagued by various fatal addictions like smoking, alcoholism, smart phone abuse, various substance abuse and other harmful social trends like rampant use of foul language, online gambling through games, obscenity online to gain views and followers on social networking sites, ragging etc.
It has been more than decade, that actor/activist/teacher of method acting,Bobby Chakraborty has been trying his heart and soul, to raise a much needed awareness against these addictions and harmful trends,right from the grassroot level, through his free of cost, globally acclaimed and award winning preventive program- ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND’.
This extremely popular and powerful awareness program has reached more than 400 schools, colleges, universities, orphanages, juvenile homes and red light areas till date.
After each session Bobby explains the administration of the institution that, this movement should not start and end here with him leaving the premises,as these awareness should echo in the consciousness of the children 24x7x365 . Only then we can reshape this morally degraded society with the help of the youth, who are our future.
So, to keep the flow alive and to keep the his soldiers of this battle awakened, Bobby announces an ‘ANTI ADDICTION CONTEST’ for all those who attended that particular session. The theme is ‘To raise awareness against addiction and harmful trends’. Students are asked to send their entries in written, art and craft or audio-visual format. 3 winners are chosen from amongst them.
A recent session, with the 7th and 8th graders, at M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth,Howrah, which was Bobby’s 414th campaign, received an astounding feedback from the students and parents alike. The socially responsible team of MCKV under the Chairman -Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, The Director -Neelkantha Gupta, The Headmaster -Biswajit Majumdar, The Activity In-charge – Amrita Sengupta, along with other respected teachers organised the contest, with a lot of zeal.
Out of numerous entries that Bobby received, The 3 proud winners were:-

3rd – UJJWAL DUGAR-7B
They were given specially personalised prizes of anti addiction campaign and community service certificates by their beloved ‘BobbyDada’,who encouraged them to keep spreading the positive awareness and healthy habits all around.
