Sennheiser Profile Wireless introduced in India, targets content makers with a price tag of Rs 29,900.

Sennheiser has introduced a new wireless microphone system in India. The business, known for its high-end audio equipment, believes that the Profile Wireless, a two-channel 2.4GHz microphone system, can assist Indian content makers and video producers in recording higher-quality audio.  According to Sennheiser, the Profile Wireless system may be connected to mobile phones, cameras, and computers. They will be able to utilize it in a variety of configurations, such as a clip-on microphone, handheld microphone, or table-top microphone, depending on their needs.

The Profile will go on sale in India in the coming weeks. It has an MRP of Rs 29,900, however once on the market, it is believed that the system would be offered with standard sale offers and discounts.Sennheiser states that the Profile Wireless was particularly developed with content makers in mind. It boasts a battery life of more than 15 hours and allows microphone usage while charging. The receiver’s auto-rotating display and various mounting choices improve usability, while threaded mounts on components speed up processes during recording sessions.

The Sennheiser Profile Wireless comes with a versatile charging bar that charges the device while also serving as a portable or desktop microphone. The system includes a two-channel mini-receiver with an OLED touch display, two pre-paired clip-on microphones with magnetic clips for convenient attachment to clothes, and adaptors for connecting the receiver to smartphones or cameras. Sennheiser states that the Profile Wireless has a wireless range of up to 245 meters. Each microphone has 16GB of inbuilt memory, which enables up to 30 hours of audio recording at 24-bit/48kHz resolution.

To reduce potential audio loss, the Profile Wireless has a Backup Recording Mode, which initiates internal recording if the wireless signal drops. Furthermore, the Safety Channel Mode records backup audio at a reduced level to minimize clipping, adding an added degree of protection for capturing high-quality sound.The Sennheiser Profile Wireless microphone system has been introduced in India and will be available in the first quarter of 2024 for Rs 29,900.
