Shah Faesal, An IAS Officer, Made Fun Of Pakistan By Saying, “Only In India Can A Muslim Reach The Top.”

Following the appointment of Rishi Sunak as the first Prime Minister of Indian descent in the UK on October 25, IAS officer Shah Faesal made fun of Pakistan. He highlighted his personal experience as an Indian civil services official and claimed that Muslims enjoy this level of freedom nowhere else on the planet.

He wrote in a thread, “It’s only in India that a Muslim youngster from Kashmir can go on to win the Indian Civil Service exam, go to the upper echelons of the government, then fall apart with the government and still be saved and taken back by the same government.”

IAS top-ranking Kashmiri in 2009, Shah Faesal, resigned from his position in January 2019 and declared his intention to enter politics. The unabated killings in Kashmir, the marginalization of Muslims, and the manipulation of public institutions by the administration at the Centre, he claimed, were the reasons for his resignation.

Faesal, who founded the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) party after quitting his job as a public official, had previously been imprisoned under the strict Public Safety Act shortly after the former state of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status was revoked.

Prior to that, the doctor-turned-bureaucrat faced criticism for referring to the rise in rapes by dubbing the nation rapistan.

The Constitution of our neighbors’ countries prohibits non-Muslims from holding high-ranking positions in the government; nevertheless, Indian democracy has never treated racial and religious minorities differently from everyone else, Faesal tweeted on October 25.

The liberties that Indian Muslims enjoy as equal citizens are unimaginable in any other so-called Islamic nation.

Faesal referred to the highs and lows of his work as an IAS officer, saying: “My personal life story is about a journey, shoulder to shoulder, with each fellow citizen of this nation of 1.3 Billion people, where I have felt owned, respected, encouraged, and at times pampered at every step of the road. This is India. “

“India has always been THE nation of equal opportunity, and the road to the top is accessible to everybody, from Maulana Azad to Dr. Manmohan Singh and Dr. Zakir Hussain to HE President Droupadi Murmu. I won’t be mistaken if I claim to have been to the mountain’s summit and witnessed it myself,” he continued.
