Shah Rukh Khan pays visit to new parents Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan made a surprise late-night visit to Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai to congratulate new parents Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. King Khan was captured entering and exiting the hospital in his white Rolls-Royce Cullinan on the night of Thursday. Shah Rukh and Deepika most recently appeared together in the 2023 blockbuster movie ‘Pathaam’. The duo is expected to return on screens for ‘Pathaan 2’.
The celebrity couple recently became parents on the evening of September 8 as the actress gave birth to their first child, a baby girl after being admitted to the hospital on Saturday evening. The whole nation has been pleased with the news as the new parents shared a joint message via an Instagram post that read, “Welcome baby girl. 8.09.2024. Deepika and Ranveer.”
The couple first shared the good news of their pregnancy in February via Instagram. The post featured a collage of baby-themed items, including onesies, caps, rattles, and shoes, with the text “September 2024” which indicated their due date. Although Deepika and Ranveer kept most of their pregnancy progress secret and under the radar, just a few days before the baby girl’s birth, the couple shared a pregnancy photoshoot that showcased some stunning photos which took the internet by storm.
DeepVeer was seen at the Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday evening to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings prior to the delivery.
Bollywood and Hollywood famed actor Priyanka Chopra shared her joy with “Congratulations” accompanied by heart emojis. Ananya Panday commented, “Baby girl! Congratulations,” while Sara Ali Khan expressed her happiness with, “Ranveer and DeePee..congratulations on your baby girl!!! Only joy and bliss to both of you.”
Actor Bipasha Basu also congratulated them and blessed the little girl by saying, “Durga Durga..Blessings to the little bundle of love and many, many congratulations to you, Ranveer and family.”
Katrina Kaif joined in the celebration with their warm wishes, and Kareena Kapoor added a personal touch, saying, “Congratulations mommy and daddy.. from saifu and Beboo…God bless the little angel.”
