Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 60th birthday with a blockbuster surprise for fans — the trailer release of his upcoming film King, featuring his daughter Suhana Khan in her first on-screen collaboration with her father. The teaser dropped on November 2, 2025, sending social media into a frenzy as fans hailed the actor’s return in an intense, action-packed avatar.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously worked with Shah Rukh in Pathaan, King is expected to be a high-octane thriller blending action, emotion, and spectacle. The trailer shows Shah Rukh in a rugged look — tattooed, sporting a salt-and-pepper beard — as he delivers the chilling line: “Kitne khoon kiye yaad nahi… 1000 jurm, 100 deshon mein badnaam, par sabne diya ek hi naam… Darr nahi, dehshat hoon. It’s showtime.” The teaser’s slick visuals and gripping music have already drawn comparisons with Hollywood-style spy thrillers.
Suhana Khan, who made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, will reportedly play Shah Rukh’s daughter in the film. The young actor shared a subtle Instagram post hinting at her role — two mugs side by side, one reading “King” and the other “King’s Princess.” Fans quickly connected the dots, flooding social media with excitement about Bollywood’s most anticipated father-daughter collaboration.
The film also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Anil Kapoor in key roles, making it one of the biggest ensemble casts of 2026. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King has been shot across international locations including Warsaw, London, and Abu Dhabi.
While the release date is yet to be announced, industry insiders suggest a mid-2026 theatrical release. The film is expected to explore the themes of power, legacy, and redemption — with Shah Rukh reportedly playing a feared underworld figure battling his own past.
As the trailer trends worldwide, fans have flooded social media with tributes, calling King a “birthday gift from the King of Bollywood.” With Shah Rukh and Suhana sharing the screen for the first time, the film promises to be one of the most talked-about cinematic events of the coming year.
