
Udalguri – In a groundbreaking initiative, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has concluded a 10-day pre-recruitment training program for over 100 aspiring youths from tea garden and Adivasi communities in Assam. The programme, held at BoP Samrang camp, was organized by SSB 37Bn in collaboration with Aadhunik India Foundation.
The training aimed to prepare young aspirants for physical, medical, and written tests, increasing their chances of selection into the SSB. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to promote recruitment from tea garden and Adivasi communities, providing them with opportunities for employment and empowerment.
Deputy Commanding Officer Suvinder Ambawat thanked Aadhunik India Foundation for initiating this program, which will support Adivasi and Tea Garden youths in joining the SSB. National President Aadhunik India Foundation D.K. Chauhan announced that 5,000 Tea Garden and Adivasi youths will participate in similar programs in 2025-26.
The event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Chief Guest Suvinder Ambawat, Guest of Honour National President of Aadhunik India Foundation D.K. Chauhan, and Special Guest Gaoburah Dukuna Newar.
Aadhunik India Foundation Sports Head Ispradhan Tanti emphasized that this is the first time the foundation has worked for community benefits. He encouraged participants to complete the pre-recruitment training program to increase their chances of selection into the SSB.
