Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting married in December; their pre-wedding activities started last month. Numerous images of their wedding invitations have surfaced on social media.
Traditional features from southern India were incorporated into the wedding card. The card had bells, a cow, lamps, and a temple. The names of the prospective bride and groom were also shown, along with information about their family. The wedding is scheduled for December 4, 2024. The Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad will host the event.
The guests also received a basket filled with various items, such as food packets, clothing, flowers, and a scroll, in addition to the card. The location of Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya’s wedding has not yet been formally announced.
Sobhita posted captivating images from the Pasupu Danchadam ritual on Instagram last month. “Pasupu Danchadam Raayi Godhuma” “And so it begins,” she wrote as the post’s caption. Sobhita wore a colorful saree with a border of green and gold for the event. She was surrounded by her household’s women in the pictures.
The start of the wedding celebrations is marked by a traditional Telugu pre-wedding ceremony. Danchadam means crushing, while pasupu implies turmeric. An approximate translation of the phrase would be “crushing wheat, stone, and turmeric together.” Sobhita crushed turmeric and asked elders for their blessings in the pictures.
In August, Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged at a private ceremony in Hyderabad in the presence of the couple’s families and friends. Nagarjuna announced this news by sharing pictures of his son Chaitanya and Sobhita from their engagement ceremony on his X handle. Along with the post, he wrote, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love Sobhitad chayakkineni.”
