Travel options have been nothing short of abundant this year and with the holidays coming up, families and solo travelers alike are curious how they’ll be spending their well-deserved time off.

- Christmas at The Grove: See the beloved 100-foot-tall white fir Christmas tree at The Grove. The tree features 15,000 sparkling lights and 10,000 decorative ornaments
- Hollywood Christmas Parade (91st year): Celebrate the holidays and promote kindness and the thought of giving and helping others. Each year the Parade features Toys For Tots, as well as other important organizations and charities that help underprivileged people during this important giving season. November 26th
- LA Zoo Lights: Explore an immersive landscape filled with dazzling new lantern sculptures of animals among blooming flowers, towering trees, and more. November 17-January 7.
- Enchanted Forest of Light at Descanso Gardens: Descanso’s Enchanted Forest of Light is an interactive, nighttime experience unlike anything else in Los Angeles, featuring a one-mile walk through unique lighting experiences in some of the most beloved areas of Descanso Gardens. Nov. 19–Jan. 7
- Kuumba Kwanzaa Celebration: Celebrate Kwanzaa on December 30th at Exposition Park
- Hanukkah in Santa Monica: Celebrate the Festival of Lights during the Hanukkah season with nightly menorah lightings on the 1400 block of Third Street Promenade, December 7-14
- Menorah Lighting at Santa Monica Place: Nightly Menorah lightings from December 7-14 in Center Plaza
- NYE Countdown at Grand Park: Join tens of thousands of Angelenos for the annual Countdown at Grand Park, downtown LA. You’ll become a part of the lavish outdoor party, listed among the West Coast’s most fabulous New Year’s Eve celebrations. The festivities kick off at 11 pm with DJs and live bands. The action culminates with an interactive countdown featuring 3-D digital video on a 22-story City Hall and fantastic fireworks.
- Universal Studios Hollywood Eve: Ring in the New Year with Eve. Be part of Hollywood’s biggest New Year’s EVE celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood’s EVE event Dec. 31 where you can party the night away with the whole family.
