On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Tamannaah Bhatia has beautifully embodied the divine essence of Radha through fashion designer Karan Torani’s latest collection, “Leela: The Divine Illusion of Love.” This collection, which delves into the profound rasa of Radha and Krishna’s love, encapsulates a divine love that transcends all boundaries and places love at the heart of the universe. Karan Torani describes the collection as a celebration of this eternal love, suggesting that if love is the answer, the question itself is secondary.

Tamannaah Bhatia shared her heartfelt experience working on the campaign via Instagram, describing a transcendent connection while portraying Radha. She expressed a sense of divine inspiration throughout the project and praised Karan Torani as a creative genius. Her post highlighted the extraordinary collaboration with Torani, reflecting on how his talent and vision have shaped the campaign’s stunning visuals.

Among the standout pieces from the “Leela” collection, the Mayuri Srisa Lehenga is particularly noteworthy. This lehenga combines vibrant jewel tones and is crafted from luxurious organza and jeni silk. It features intricate embroidery with zardori, dabka, and doria. Styled with two unique odhnis inspired by Rajwada traditions, the lehenga is adorned with doria and badla warq, bringing a regal touch to the ensemble.

Another exquisite piece is the Chandramallika Manmayi Lehenga, which is crafted from the finest raw silk and features embroidery in zardozi, dabka, and dori work. The deep purple hue exudes a regal effect, complemented by an embellished magenta blouse. The lehenga is paired with two odhnis in purple and aqua blue, made from delicate tulle and organza, and decorated with motifs such as dil, chidi, eent, and hukum.

The Kumuda Birajini Lehenga is a vision in ivory, embroidered with pearls and doria on a pure canvas. It comes with the Kumuda Birajini choli, featuring hand-embellished 3D floral designs in organza. The ensemble is completed with a soft pink scalloped odhni made from sheer tulle, embellished with gota, doria, and sequin work.

The Chandramallika Gaurangi Blouse adds a touch of tradition and modernity, inspired by the traditional Indian angia (bodice). The purple blouse, adorned with intricate zari embroidery, dabka, and sequins, is versatile enough to be paired with a saree, choli, or pants. It stands out as a luxurious silk piece that blends classic and contemporary elements.

Lastly, the Gerua Keshavi Saree showcases opulence in an exquisite orange hue. Crafted from luxurious organza, the saree is embellished with dabka work and intricate dori embroidery. The saree features moti and sequin work, with a thick embroidered border ending in micro scallops, adding elegance to the overall design.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s portrayal of Radha, coupled with Karan Torani’s visionary designs, brings a fresh and divine perspective to the celebration of Janmashtami. The collection not only reflects the timeless beauty of Radha but also highlights the enduring appeal of traditional craftsmanship in contemporary fashion.
